Spring Festival VS. Christmas

The differences between the most important festival in China and Christmas

snow -10 °C

There are a lot of festivals in China, the most important one is Spring Festival which is between January and February. It lasts for sixteen days. Everyone comes back home and get together. It’s really similar with Christmas. We also decorating our home but in red color. We don’t exchange gifts but elders need to give teenagers money. This means that we will be rich in the future. I feel really bad for not going back home to celebrate Spring Festival. But fortunately, I came to Edmonton and had Christmas with my friends from China.

We didn’t do anything special on Christmas Eve, we watched two movies together. On Christmas day, we played table tennis and did some painting. I had a lot of fun with them. Thanks for inviting me to Edmonton, my friend-Amy!
